Nomad Wine started with our passion for wine and the aim to make the world of wine accessible to everybody by adding value and fun to excellent wine.
We showcase our wines through a number of ways - pop up bars at food festivals, wine tasting events, private wine tastings, private sales...AND you can enjoy our wines at our venues: Nomad, Market Drayton, in Shropshire and our pub The Lord Combermere in Audlem, South Cheshire.
MEET US
My wine journey began in 2009 when I was on a university placement in Reims, France as part of my French degree. I immediately fell in love with Champagne (who wouldn’t!) and I discovered the many hundreds of small Champagne producers and their excellent wines. I ended up starting a Champagne tour company and I worked for family champagne brand developing export sales & tours too. I had many happy years living in France but In 2019 I came back to the UK to work for an English vineyard in Hampshire where I worked on the development of an English sparkling wine brand and I discovered amazing English wines.
Today, I love selecting (and tasting) wines from all around the world, but I definitely still have a soft spot for French wines, and of course champagne! My favourite wine at the moment is Domaine Perraud, Macon Villages.

I began my career in wine working for Gusbourne English Sparkling in Sussex, where I am from. I went on to study wine production at Plumpton and I became the vineyard manager at Laverstoke Park in Hampshire. From working on vineyards, I developed a passion for wine and after another couple of years of managing other vineyards in the UK, we set up Nomad where my love for wine continued to develop. One of the perks of the job working for Nomad is being able to travel and visit vineyards across the world. I fell in love with Chianti Rufina on a wine trip to Italy, and I would say that our Selvapiana Chianti Rufina is my favourite red wine from our range.
